I built Mindful Personal Training because I have a passion for health and fitness but felt there was a disconnect between our bodies and minds.

Through my own training and research I saw real benefits to implementing mindful techniques into workouts. These techniques can increase focus, reduce stress, aid fat loss, build muscle and much more

I enjoy helping people achieve their goals and live happier, healthier and more rounded lives.

My qualifications include: Level 3 Personal Training Diploma from BISMA, an AIQ Level 3 Award in Supporting Pre and Postnatal Clients, AFFA Practical Pilates, Mindfulness and Life Coaching Diploma from the NPL Centre of Excellence. I also have Emergency First Aid at Work and Paediatric First Aid Certificates. I am also a member of CIMSPA.

We train clients in and around Taunton, Somerset.

Mindful Personal Training takes a holistic view of training and fitness by creating a strong connection between the body and mind.  We use mindful elements such as breathing exercises to help reduce stress and create a focus on the body during exercise.  

We use a mixture of interval training alongside resistance training, whether it be with body weight exercises or using weights and other equipment as part of the workout.  Each person’s needs will be taken into account and a programme designed specifically for them in order to maximise client training potential.

By reducing stress and achieving better focus and form we are able to lessen those reoccurring aches and pains, minimise the risk of injury as well as increase performance.
